77 350 in a 1984 1500.
My truck is an 1984, but the engine had blown and was replaced prior to me getting it. I was wondering if there is any difference in the engines. Say if I were to order headers, do I get them for 1984, or 1977? Also(sorry probably not the right place to ask, but don't wanna make 80 million threads) The engine was converted to cap and rotor from points, and it seams as though when I get wires for a 77, they never seem to fit what can I do about this?

Buy wires for an 84. Wires will be cut for HEI distributors. Headers don't matter, heads should be the same bolt pattern. Order for an 84 due to slight frame changes.

Thanks for the help! The wires were always touching the exhaust. As you may be able to see form my avatar, there are wires everywhere, and it looks like crap.
