Got a brake question here

66 c10 drum brakes all around. changed out shoes couple months ago. when i put the brakes on it slightly pulls to one side in front and makes a errrk sound. is there some fluid or something possibly on the shoe or ????

have you adjusted the star adjusters? (although that wouldn't explain the erk sound...)

if not, generally speaking, you want to set them to where it just binds a few-wheeling hub, then back off until it is just "un-bound"...

If it's pulling to one side, then that side needs to be "loosened" or the other side needs to be "tightened".

If it's just fluid, it should get a little better - unless it is a continual leak from the cylinder rather than a little fluid dripped on the pad when you did the brake job. If it's a leak, gotta fix it. Should be able to pull the hub and check for a leak - if none, then probably just an adjustment is needed.
