I don't really want to post this in the bad deal thread, but I feel like it is my only option.

I posted a for sale ad for an AM radio. Spirt of 76 Chevy said he would take it. We agreed on a price thru PM and I sent out the radio. He PM'd me stating that he received the radio and that payment would be sent out that day. The radio was sent out on 6/22 and received on 6/25. I have not got the payment. I sent him quit a few PM's asking for the payment. He responded on 7/27 saying he thought that he had sent out the money and that he told his son to send it but he probably didn't. He also stated he would try to send it again. Still no payment, so I sent him another PM, but have not got one back in reply. This brings us up to date.

However, Yesterday I saw that he had logged on and was trying to purchase another item from member. I believe he should have seen my PM when doing so and could have given me at least an update as to where my payment is.

I truly hope that is just a simple misunderstanding and that all ends well.

I also can't believe you sent it before payment was made. I hope you, and others, refrain from this...as not everyone is as honest as we would hope they would be.

There is certainly truth to this statement. However, I have had others send me items that I purchased before they recieved my payment, I have have sent items to others in certain situations before I recieved theirs. But I would not recomend doing so. With that said, It sounds like there was communication after the radio was recieved stating that the buyer recieved it, and payment would be sent. We need to keep this place honest. I hope the buyer sticks by his word and makes this deal good. Brian is a good guy, and trusted that the buyer would be a man of his word as well. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope this gets resolved and is just a big misunderstanding, and nothing more.

Guys like I said my 16 year old messes with eBay and has paypal I never used paypal so I ask Brian to call me and give him my # I well western union his money ASAP
