a friend has a set of black 17in set rims off a 79 chevelle would they fit my 71 c10 half ton?

NO. Chevelle has a smaller bolt pattern... 5x 4 3/4(Chevelle) vs. 5x5 (truck)

I always liked the look of the 4th Generation Camaro wheels,
(Chromed Version). Although the Bolt Pattern is a 5X4 3/4 (if it were ME) I'd try to look for an adapter or aftermarkets that were "similar" looking.
I never really was a Fan of Black Wheels.
Just my .02 cents worth.

do any of the rims from a 80s 90s or 2000s year chevy 5lug truck bolt straight up to our years? i seen some rally i think they were from an 80s truck that are 15x8 for 125. is there a guide or something on the net for this? i just dont wanna buy rims and then they dont fit. whats the widest i could go in the front and rear with a 15in rim? my truck is lowered 3in in front and 5in in the rear. thanx for the help guys

yes, but not S10. Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe, Caprice 91-96, Impala SS 94-96, Astro van and Safari... all 5x5 bolt pattern....

ok so i found a set of wheels and bought them! i think i got a good deal on them, there American Racing Wheels / Classic Style. the rims are silver in the center and a chrome lip, im gonna strip the silver down in the center and have them spray black with a chrome lip. the rears are 15x8 and the fronts are 15x7 whats a good size tire to run in the back and front? i want some that stands out, oh and i only paid 125 for the set off craigslist. heres a pic

Bolt one onto your truck before you spend any time or money on them....

can you post a pic of your truck?

If u are running a 2wd with some drop I would go with some BFG radial ta. 275/60 R15 in the rear and 255/60 R15 or 245/60 up front. If you are stock hight might need a taller tire, 255/70 rear and 235/70 front.

If u dont like the staggered look or like to be able to rotate your tires a 255 either 60 or 70 serries front and back would probably work.

I have a 4/6 drop with 235/60 15 and 295/50 15 BFGs but I wish they were a bit taller or that I had more drop.

I was in the middle of moving my gf when this photo was taken.

im looking at a set of 17x8 that are off a 1994 Caprice Classic will they bolt right up to my 71 with no mods?

they make these in different lug patterns now I believe
