If you look at his first pic and at your frame I think you'll see why the stock crossmember that goes under the stock bellhousing won't work with your modern auto trans. Remember this being discussed? I had to remove mine to mount a 327/TH400 setup, there's no substantial difference between between the different GM automatics in that area. I recommend you run the engine and trans crossmembers like Nordic has. This will also allow you to adjust the engine position slightly to allow room for the HEI.
