Re: tail light/electrical problem

Make sure you have a good ground for the whole bed. I had loose bed bolts once that kept all of the tail lights from working.

If the voltage is present until you put a load on it it is most likely you have a bad wire (freyed or chaffed) that gives you continuity but will not carry the amps.
