Question Help finding part for E-brake

Hey guys and gals,

Anyone know where I can find the E-brake rod that connects the handle to the frame bracket thats just in front of the steering box.

I've looked in most vendors catalogs, no luck. I know its just a rod with a bend on one end and threaded on the other. I could probably make it but I don't have and dimensions.

Thanks.
Wess

Re: Help finding part for E-brake

I just ripped all that off of my 59, prob same thing I have. You can have it if you pay shipping and I can find it.

Re: Help finding part for E-brake

Funny how everyone has to find those pieces.

OrrieG,
If you can send me the dimensions that would be great, this way if Wheelie can't find it then I can make it.

Wheelie,
I'd appriciate that, I only need the rod that connects the two pieces. I have the rest of it. Just PM me if you find it

I know nobody uses the original stuff anymore and they just throw it out, but I try to use it as much as I can.

Re: Help finding part for E-brake

Thank you very much. Your drawing will come in handy if I need to make it.

Re: Help finding part for E-brake

well I assume my 59 e-brake is different. I have nothing that looks like the schematic that doesn't have a cable swedged in the end of the threaded portion and the cable is cut/damaged. Sorry I couldn't help you
