Will 325/60/15 on 15x10s rub on a stock 2wd?
I'm currently running 31x10.5 on the 15x8 rally. Plenty of room. But the Rallys have a more positive offset and sit way in.
Will 325/60/15s (which is around 30.3 x 12.8) on a 15x10 steel Cragars with a -44 offset (sticking furher out) rub on my 87 2wd C10 Pickup? Will look this fat: This rim: I can't seem to find anybody who's done this or any pictures.. but as crazy as it sounds, I think it won't rub .. actually a shorter tire than what I've got.

I run 325/50/15 drag radials on 15x10 rims with a 3.75 inch backspace. They clear just fine in the rear, can't tell you much about the front. I would not lower it with this backspace but no worries at stock ride height. There is room to tuck the wheels in further, but for some reason all the cheap steel rims have this same backspacing. More expensive wheels will give you options for a more ideal backspacing.

Yeah it's the front I'm wondering about. And Actually I think 3.75 inch backspace looks great.. but wonder about the wider tires and those outer front fender corners. I run a 295/50/16 on a small, low jeep that you would swear would never fit.. and somehow it does without rubbing. Thanks.

325/50/15
I've seen a lot of these trucks with what looks to be the 3.75 backspace 15x10's up front and a 275/60 or 295/50 tire. Of course these are 28" and 27" diameter respectively. May I ask what kinda tire you will be running ? I'm guessing some kinda drag radial or off road tire ?

Was thinking of these. I rarely drive the truck, going mostly for the look of a fatter tire. Do you think these might be unsafe for highway and city driving? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....um=26QR5KM2RWL

They will fit. I run this size on a 15x10 with 3.75 back spacing on my 1990 2wd suburban. I did have to cut away just a fuzz on the front of the fender. If you didn't know it was cut you'd never notice it.

I can't offer any help as far as the wheel/tire sizing, but I do know that the new BFG M/T are great tires. I run a set of 35"x12.50"x15" on 10" wheels on my Jeep Wrangler and they've been great for all around city/highway driving. They also balance very well... which is rare in 35" and bigger mud tires. Keep in mind that BFG offers no mileage warranty on Mud Terrains, but I've never had an issue with any of them.... and I've owned several set of them. |

It's to bad BFG doesn't offer this size anymore. I'd like to buy another set. They seem to wear forever. When I had 40k on them I told myself there was probably another 10k left in them. I've put that 10k on and I think there's another 10k in them.
