All the factory plaid valve covers I've seen are red with black and yellow stripes. These look pink.

True statement. When i first got my 67 it came with one of those covers new in the box. I had no clue what it was worth so I put it on ebay and got $372 and some change for it. For 1 valve cover. Can't imagine what a set would have brought.

sweet truck, BTW, what do your fender emblems say, and can I see a pic? I have a 1500 V6 and the emblems are so worn you can hardly read them and I can't find new ones....

mine says 2500 v-six. i have not seen any repop GMC emblems that have v-6 on them either..
