Window Comes Out of Channel

Does anyone else have this problem? My windows are fine when you roll them down (you better cause it's burning outside) but when you start to roll them up, they "bump" out of the channel and are a pain trying to get back in.

To get them back in you have to roll them down halfway, and then try to lift/push on them to get them back.

Will replacing the window channel rubber help this at all? LMC carries a kit for both doors for $99...and if I don't have to mess with my windows, then it's well worth it.

Re: Window Comes Out of Channel

Check the condition of the rubber in the channels if it's folded in it will cause the window to jump out of the track, also remove the door panel and make sure the bolts that hold the channels in place are tight, if they loosen it'll jump everytime

And buy rubber somewhere else that stuff is cheap, IMHO from using it twice

Thanks, I know that the bolts are tight (checked them when I pulled the panels off) but I didn't think to check to see if the rubber was folded . Going to check that out then!
