total fluid capacity of TH350-c trans. ?

Can't find the total capacity. I have read in alldata 10 quarts. My owners manual says 5 quarts which I think is refill. I am installing a rebuilt trans in my 86 c-10 305v8 with a350 th-c and I know I need to put at least 2 quarts in my new torque converter. Any help is much apprec. Thanks

My BIG Chilton's shop manual states 10 qts dry...... 4 qts for fluid and filter change only.

I'm pretty sure it's only about 4qts. That sounds about right

For a totally dry TH350 tranny it'll hold 12 qts with the standard torque convertor... If you install a torque convertor from a TH400 you can increase the amount to 14 quarts. Done this a few times in the past.

GM manual says 20 pints if dry. I just finished putting a new T350-C in my 83 and with the extra deep sump pan it took 12 qts.
