Can boost be rebuilt?
I was going to purchase a power brake boost today from guy, realized the diaphram must be bad, could not suck a vaccuum. Upon inspection, I realized it appears can disasembled. Not sure I want to buy a broken boost, but I need hardware anyway, and even if I need to buy a boost, it is only $25 for boost and $80 for boost. However, if it had been good, I would have a boost for $25...

I don't know of anyway to rebuild the power boost unit. Far as I know you arelimited to buying a new on if it is bad.

Re: Can boost be rebuilt?
Most brake boosters you buy from any parts house are rebuilt so yes they can be rebuilt. This is not something I would attempt to do myself.
