I believe it was the middle hole of the three on the frame. I can go a take a cloer look if you need me to.

Hope this helps a bit

thanks bro, ok well here's the thing i took the suspension off of a 1967 c10 like the front cross member and the rear coil suspension , and im in the middle of installing it on my 1969 k5 blazer 4x4 frame to convert it to 2wd, well i keep measuring and it keeps making me land on the first hole not the middle hole, im thinking i measured wrong maybe from the front cross member
but idk im someone stuck on this step, the other thing is home of my homeboys already drilled the front crossmember holes =/ he said hes is 100% sure he measured right but i dont think he did, but yeaha if i was to move the trailin arm crossmemeber to the middlehole i wouldnt come close to a 104 wheel base (i measure front the middle of the rear axle to the from crossmember like the back)

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer

heres some pictures to better describe what im talking bout, the pictures show the from cross member mounted to a persistent hole on my 1969 frame and they also show the trailing arm cross member mounted to the first hole as i stated before, and it shows where the rear axle would be if bolted down to the first hole on the stock bump stop on the 4x4 frame...http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/i...vil.gif:smoke:

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer

Well, here is what I will do,

I'll make some measurements on my frame and post them here. It will be a day or two since I have some work things going on the first half of the week. Hopefully it will clear up your questions and concerns, and mine too!

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer

Some updates finally..
I ordered the rest of my suspension components.. I got the Accuair goodies from Jason and some of it has already arrived. (pics soon) I also sourced all the parts for my Tach, Vac, Speed Warning, Choke Delete dash. The Choke Delete plate came in on Monday after waiting on backorder since April. I guess since the original source being used dried up, they took it upon themselves to produce new one's on their own. I'll add pictures of it tonight. My priority changed a bit over the past few months. My son is nearing driving age, and has twisted my arm to build him a 68 SWB. I had just bought a second 2wd Blazer for him in the spring, and had been working on it a little but he changed his mind. anyway, that has put the project off for some time. I also had engine issues on my 78, so it has been in the shop getting an engine swap. It's almost done, and that will free up a bay to get the tub off the frame and allow me to work on the suspension mock up and fitments. I'm itching to get back on this thing.....

pics to follow as I unpack more goodies..

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer

Got the remaining parts in from Accuair, but of course I can't seem to find any batteries for my camera. I'll get things posted ASAP. Seems what free time I have has been to work on Project Zachamachi..formerly Calico. my sons 68 daily driver project. We have until February to get it on the road when he gets his license.

Lots to do on it as it started with just the frame..

Do you know where a guy could find more pictures of this truck. The link does not work. Is the magazine no longer published? I wish I could see that issue.
Thanks Matt
