holy cow! That's unheard of!!

Re: Restoring Upper and Lower Trim

So for the grill you just removed dings, sanded it, and buffed?

Re: Restoring Upper and Lower Trim

I haven't been able to take the trim to them yet because I am trying to find (2) upper pieces of bed trim. I thought I had someone sending them to me but there was some mis-communication. I am working on a few other truck projects now but what I have stripped and straightened, looks real nice and I can't wait to take it to the next step. I'll post when I get to that point.

Re: Restoring Upper and Lower Trim

I used a heat gun on the back side to soften the adhesive. Once I had most of it off, I remove the rest with lacquer thinner or aircraft stripper. Good luck!
