Have a 68 Roller

No motor or trans. Lost interest and it is partially disassembled now. I took the front clip off to pull engine and trans. Thought I was going to restore, but lost interest and am thinking about parting out now. Font clip is excellent condition. Cab is in really good condition, rockers are in tact, doors are good, front floor supports have some rust holes. Box exterior is good, wood floor is probably original and needs completely replaced. Has 20" 6 bolt rims with pretty much new Goodyears. Have a 4 core radiator for manual trans, power steering gear box, Did the lowering coil springs and shock from CPP. This truck did drive before I pulled the motor. Would like to sell in segments, ie. front clip, cab, box frame, or complete truck Not really interested in doing small pieces at a time. Also, incase you were wondering that is vinyl covering the exterior. The truck is white and virtually rust free. the vinyl will peel off.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

$1999.00 buys the truck without those rims and tires. If you want the wheels I would have to ask a little more, that rubber is almost full tread.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

Are you selling this whole, or parting it out? If selling whole, it needs to go in the "trucks for sale" section here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/c...ndex.php?cat=8

If parting, you just need to list prices. Thanks!

Sounds good Elz. Good luck, it looks like a nice truck with a lot of good parts there.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

I may be interested in the whole truck,
if we could figure out logistics.
Also I am a bit confused about the statement of the truck being white.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

The truck is white underneath. It has a vinyl wrap on it, which means it is totally covered in vinyl graphics which will peel off. I am attaching some more pictures that I took with my phone this afternoon. They aren't great but they show the truck in the state is is now with the front end disassembled and the motor out of it. Let me know if you have any further questions

Re: Have a 68 Roller

more pics. In these you can see I had the rad support and grille blasted but it isn't covered in primer. This was done with the expectation that I would be getting a motor in soon. Never happened though, and the stuff has sat all summer.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

I looked up where Marshalltown is located..I'm thinking its too far away for me.
I'll need to keep an eye out for something more local to me.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

How much for the complete cab? and where would I pick-up? Marshalltown, Ia?

More pictures of rust areas, if any. If it's pretty solid, I'll come after it.

Re: Have a 68 Roller

Here are some pics underneath the cab. The two front supports will need attention. I'm pretty sure those are available as replacement parts. Must be a pretty common problem with these. It looks the whole truck was repainted before I bought it. It looks like they have already replace cab corners on this cab. See if these pictures help any. I have the prices separate listed above in this thread. However would prefer if someone would just take the whole thing off my hands. It would be a better deal. Thanks
