Saddle tank removal?
My drivers side saddle tank leaks like crazy and I want to remove and eliminate it. What needs to be done to do this? Do I have to plug lines at the switching point between the tanks?

Re: Saddle tank removal?
I had a similar problem on a 78. The right tank went bad so I removed it and I bypassed the crossover valve and ran the lines straight on into the engine bay. Its worked ever since with no problems.
