finally home
i have been a little out of touch with this board because i sold all of the running 72 vintage trucks i had several years ago. i have always had my grandpas truck (became mine when i was 13) that he bought new. it has been at my dads for several years since i moved to colorado. i finally had a chance to go get it and bring it home. i also got a nice trailer out of the deal anyhow on to pictures. i will start a build thread when i get some time to make progress and need to ask countless questions.

Re: finally home
hard to tell, but it looks pretty rust free? What are your plans?

Re: finally home
it isn't rust free, but it is less rusty than a lot of trucks that grew up in iowa for sure.
plans are for a 12v and 6 speed and the rest is undecided. i would like to eventually have the body restored and have it be a comfortable driver/hauler. the looks side of it might wait till after i have the drivetrain set up the way i want it. but i get bored on projects when i am saving for the next big part and that could very likely mean i start on the body while i am waiting. ryan |
