Cross member swap parts

What parts on this 69 will work on my 87? If none then my son is taking it to a show to sell.

Re: Cross member swap parts

It would swap into your 87, but, the parts on the 87 are technically 'better'. There's really no reason to swap unless something on the 87 is damaged from collision.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Someone cut the steering stops on the lower a-Arms off of my 87. I was wondering if the a-arms on the 69 would go on the 87.

They would physically swap but the steering stops were different between drum/disc brake front ends. If you wanted the correct steering stops for your disc set-up, I'd use later model a-arms.
