Front Brake hoses

I just swapped in a Dana 44 disc brake front end on my Blazer. The old front end was a drum 10 bolt. The Dana 44 has banjo style fittings on the brake hoses. My question is all the extended lines I see for lifted trucks don't have the banjo fitting, just straight threads. Can you use those or is the banjo style required? Thnaks, Dave
