When I was growing up we had milk delivered to the house every tuesday and thursday by a truck that looked exactly like that. That would have been in the mid 80's I guess.

Does anyone have a picture of what those trucks would have looked like before they were converted? I Thought they made cowl chassis trucks, but I saw on here that someone who knows about that stuff said they didnt.

Kinda looks like a Mac or Snap-on tool truck rear-ended a pickup and shoved the pickup into the van up to the cowl.

Not sure who told you that. They sure did make them. They are called flat face cowls and you're looking at 2 of them in this thread.
