Posts: 51	Re: big block conversion in my '72 k5 the best way to drop the big block in is to move the engine forward about two inches....easier said than done if it's already in the truck. just because you are gonna have issues with the valve covers and the firewall not to mention distributor clearance especially if you are gonna run HEI.
