Clutch Rod
I've searched the archives for photos, but could find nothing close enough to tell. I have a '72 w/ a 402 BB. The pedal to bell crank rod on mine is kinda "S" shaped and somewhat flat instead of round.
It is "rubbing" along the firewall hole on the left side (looking from the engine). I also cannot install the boot for those reasons. The bell crank is installed in the correct direction as I have seen those photos. Am I supposed to have different style rod instead of the "S" shaped? I have seen straight rods on different year trucks. Any photos or manual exploded views? Thanks all...........
