Thanks for the compliments, the code is GM..."WA5111" Linen White; been around since the early seventies. The color name has been changed several times, but same code.

Re: sidemarkers did you know

Well, the law requiring automakers to place side markers on trucks was ratified in congress in 1968. 1967 is the only year of these trucks without markers. That's the reason they don't flow well with the body. Since GM was committed to the body style for at least 5 years, they simply added the rectangle markers. It's no wonder they look like an afterthought. They were.

Re: sidemarkers did you know

Man what a dunce! you'd think i'd have learned by now the 67's didn't have markers.

Hence the reference to looking much cleaner...doopy doo.

Re: sidemarkers did you know

Correction. The law was ratified earlier. It states that vehicles manufactured after 1/1/68 must have amber front side and red rear side retroreflectors OR lights. Vehicles built after 1/1/70 require reflectors AND lights.

Re: sidemarkers did you know

Hey man, don't beat yourself up. That's how we all learn dude. When I was 17 and working at a gas station, a guy in a diesel truck asked me to check his spark plugs. I was under that hood for a good five minutes until I finally asked where they were. ha ha ha ha
