Drill some holes in the roof from inside the cab and fill the entire roof with expanding foam then patch up the holes and paint it. My roof sounds like a surfboard when you tap it. It is filled solid with the foam. The cab isn't back on the truck yet but I'm sure it is gonna help with both heat and sound.
