Need 67 center belt measurement
Can someone measure the total length of a 1967 center seat belt?
Actually any year would probably work, but would be curious to know if the 67 matches the length of the later center belts too.

Re: Need 67 center belt measurement
My 67 didn't have a center belt. I got one from another year, 70 or 71 maybe. If no one has answered for you by tommorow afternoon, I'll measure what I put in there for you.

Re: Need 67 center belt measurement
The later model green was a pretty close match to my 67 blue, I think sun fading helped. The male center belt is about 28", couldn't get precise, the seat didn't want to move forward. i pulled the female end all the way out to the stop and got about 34", and here's a photo in case you weren't aware of the differences in 67 and later belts.

Re: Need 67 center belt measurement
Great so you are looking at about 62" in total length correct? Any problems with that not being long enough?

Re: Need 67 center belt measurement
It's been long enough for 9 and 12 yr old girls. Hadn't thought about it for adults. I just went and sat there, and was way plenty of room for me. I'm 6 ft and well fed.

Re: Need 67 center belt measurement
Great. I am putting it in my dump truck and once in a blue moon the kids like to ride to the dump with me. Might have a booster seat in the middle and I think the 62" would be fine.
