Need some info on adding PS to 68 K10
I'm going to look at a 68 swb k10 tomorrow that is basically a plain jane. It currently has no PS or PB. Adding the PB is no problem, but need some info on adding PS.
Assuming is has the frame dimple, what can I use as a donor to get a power steering box from? I have one from a 86 2x4 but know there r differences in the pitman arm. Can I just put a 4x4 pitman arm on the 2x4 steering box? If not can I use a steering box from an 86 4x4 3/4 ton, or does it have to come from a 1/2 ton? Any info is most appreciated. Thanks guys!

A 4x4 pitman arm will not fit a 2wd steering box.
I believe the only issue that you will have with the 86 3/4 ton 4x4 box will be the fittings for the lines. Jim
