Re: Factory 3/4 ton Backspacing?
My 66 has 4.5 I just measured it yesterday as im trying to find newer (90s) 2500 8 lug rims. As far as i know they will fit. I have what i believe to be a spare from either a van or truck and it fits to a "T" . But its ugly as hell, weird stamping with holes. Im looking for this:

Re: Factory 3/4 ton Backspacing?
Well, I measured the Widow-Makers that came on my 66 c15 I just got, and the backspacing is 4 1/2 inches, but not sure they were the factory correct rims for the GMC that year. Not sure how wide they are...was figuring about 5 or 6 inch rims. I picked some 8 lug 16 x 6.5 Stellies to replace those widow makers. I just dropped them off at the powder-coat shop to get them done in satin Black...close to the factory color I think. Most GM 8 lug 16's should fit for you....not sure what year mine are. I think most Dodge 8 lug steelies will work as well.

Re: Factory 3/4 ton Backspacing?
As a matter of fact i have a 3500 Dodge van and have tried them. They are close. Not a tight fit around the hub, but lugs line up. Im still lookin for the steelies i pictured above. They should still have the same backspacing.
