Re: My Wheels Need Help!
I was talkin with the guy at a local tire/truck accessory shop and he told me he can send my wheels off and get them blasted and powder coated for $25 apiece. I been thinkin about it and I think I'll go that route. They can do white, gray, or black. He showed me a pic of a black wagon wheel with a chrome center cap and lugnuts, and I've been trying to decide how it would look on my truck.Gray mite be better, I can't decide. I'd have to buy the caps and lugnuts so it's gonna cost more but if I go this route the wheels will probably stay on my truck long term.

Re: My Wheels Need Help!
Wow, I just found this! I've been searching paint for wagon wheels also. I know some arent fans of them, but in a darker color they look good. Especially if you are on a budget. I bought a set last weekend for 25 bucks... searched a long time too! I'm in the middle of stripping them down to metal (got one down to meltal and another down to the white finish for stripping).
I'm goin with a matte / semi-gloss black with chorme lugs and low rise (about 2 3/4") center cap. Gotta go for now....back to work! I'll post what I have later. |
