Front Axle needed - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I need a front axle assembly for a 51 GMC 1/2ton. As I want to convert it to disk brakes and currently it has a 3/4 ton axle.
Promlem is cannot find Brake drums for 3/4 ton prior to 1955.

I HAVE A ROLLING 48 CHEVY 1/2 TON FRAME IN BRADENTON FL I WILL SELL AFTER I GET A FEW MORE MEASUREMENTS FOR THE NEW FRAME I'M BUILDING FOR IT. E-MAIL IF INTERESTED.
