radiator in bed of 57 pickup

anyone ever mount the radiator in the bed or have seen it done?need help badly i have no room up front

It can be mounted anywhere you want as long as there is enough air flow to keep it cool.
i have seen them mounted in all kinds of unusual places.
You would have to use hard tubing. That would be a pain to route sort of like exhaust times two. then keeping the radiator tubing from the exhaust heat.
It could be done but it would be a challenge.

P.S. what in taking up so much space in front?
I have seen blown hemi 33' willys coupes with radiators in front. so you must be doing something wild!

I forgot there would also need to be some sort of air routed through the radiator to keep cool at speed, scoops ducts or a combination. oh yeah, the extra weight of the coolant could be a problem.

put a 57 chevy pu body on 81 gmc frame ,496 bbc
