Which headers for my truck?

Im about to make an order long tube headers for my '92 Silverado and I found out that there are two types one for centered engine and the other for offset to passenger side how can I tell which one is mine? its 2WD 1500 stepside shortbed

not trying to be a smartass, but did you try measuring? I'd measure inside of fender to outside of air cleaner if they're the same its centered. if not the same well, there ya go. but ofcourse i could be wrong but its worth a shot

it dont have the air filter anymore but from the look of it its centered even the dizzy is centered I will take some pics and show you but I thought there was another way we can tell

I had heard it myself about being off to one side and I wonder if it's just a myth or something.

I'm no help on long tubes, I got ebay stainless shorties on mine, no rust ever and bolt right in place no problems.

maybe the 4wd trucks the motor is offset because of the front driveshaft? just a thought so id say 2wd would be centered?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's off-center in my 93 2wd 1500. I'm no help on headers though...

..... and the reason for headers? Unless your engine is highly modified, the cost wouldn't be worth the minor performance..... unless you like the look?

thats what I thought at first

mountie : yes I put the 383ci in there and its pretty loaded a headers is a must
