Clearance/Cab Lights
I just went on a spending spree at LMC and RockAuto - cab light kit, air dam (pickup didn't have one when I bought it) and '95-'98 style mirrors.
My question - Anyone know how hard it is to mount these cab lights and wire them? My truck doesn't have them stock. I'm a little nervous about getting them in the right place and didn't know if there was a template of some kind to mount them. I do need to get a rust spot and a small dent fixed this winter after harvest, so would it be better to let the body shop mount the lights? Thanks in advance guys. |

Re: Clearance/Cab Lights
i got mine from there too and did them on tahoe. theres a good thread on it by another guy if you search gmt400 cab light install. marking it is the place you want to take your time on. also you will need to pull headliner down enough to connect all of the wires together. its not that hard to do but if you dont feel comfortable in drillin into your roof and wiring then it would be better if you go with having someone else install them
