The Burb Doing Boat Show Duty

The Burb pulled my 1956 Lyman to the Buffalo Launch Club Boat show today. There was a concurrent car show on grounds but my rig was allowed to stay hooked up to the trailer and be displayed in one of the boat areas. Usual 3 door wonderment but also tons of nostalgic comments on both the Burb and the boat. Had a great day viewing and talking antique and classic boats.

That's an awesome setup. I am sure it took a few people "Back in the day"

Re: The Burb Doing Boat Show Duty

As a footnote, I didn't go back on Sunday when they had an awards luncheon as I had other plans. There wasn't any show on Sunday, just the lunch and awards. I got an email yesterday indicating that, based on the professional judging conducted Saturday, my boat won 1st place in classic outboards and also received the Lyman award (a manufacturer's award for the best Lyman). Guess I should have gone to the awards lunch. They are going to mail them to me.
