next generation wheels

My neighbor just offered me his 1990 1/2 ton 2wd, it has five lug wheels , will they fit on my crew cab?
Was the bolt pattern the same from the squares to the 88 up trucks?
The wheels have a grand worth of new rubber on them, hoping to take advantage of the deal.

Thanks

The bolt pattern is the same from 1971 throu 1998 (5 lug x 5 inch) but chevy went to metric lug nut in 1988.

Crew cab? Not unless it's a 5 bolt. I've never seen a 5 lug crew cab. I've seen nothing but 8 lugs.

If it is 5 they must have swped the front and rear to a 1/2 ton.

Re: next generation wheels

I have seen some half ton crews, there are some in the CC picture thread. Don't know if those started out that way or not. I would love to have one. About those wheels they will fit, but the offset is different.

They never made a 1500 CC in our body style.

Re: next generation wheels

I guess I never thought about it, and they're all built trucks. The local gas co. here used to have a few and I thought they were half tons. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the confirmation. I had no doubt, but there are those that weren't sure.
