97 silverado AC clutch

i just bought back my son's 97 silverado and the old owner told me that the ac clutch was out. now, a lot of other things that he told me was wrong with the pickup aren't (he has a really bad mechanic) so i started checking. there is no power to the ac clutch. what is the best way to figure out which pressure switch or other part may be bad?

Re: 97 silverado AC clutch

Start with a schematic.

Pull the relay and see if it has power to the contact on pin 87 and if it has power and ground to the coil.
