It was parked in Oakland since '03. The guy who sold it to me said it was his girlfriend's grandfather's truck. It had a cracked exhaust manifold. They just got it running again last month and all the DMV stuff taken care of last week. He ran rubber fuel line from the driver's side saddle tank to the fuel pump (scary!). I'm going to replace the tank and hard lines.

My wife has had the bug for a long time, she drove a 64 short step in college and also drove double bottoms for her dad back then as well. I had a '60 long step when we got married.

She is very happy with this truck, she wants to change the color to a two tone with the Chevy turquoise but leave it otherwise mechanically stock.
