speedometer cable question

If you have to remove it to clean it up just replace it with a new one then your guaranteed it wont leak should be less than $28.00

I'm pretty sure that is going to be an odd thread but don't know that for a fact. Take the bolt out and it will slide right out then you can clean the threads up with a three cornered file. Make sure the speedo gear comes out with it. If that doesn't work someone on the parts board should have one for a four speed. LockDoc

there is a hold down bolt that you remove and that speedo bullet will slide out with the gear
