anybody know a good source for gauge clusters?

I'm looking for a gauge cluster out of a late 80s big truck. It would be cool to have the combined factory tach and fuel gauge, but my main interest is in the factory air pressure gauge. I've pieced together an on-board air system with a york 210 compressor and i would like to have the factory touch in the dash instead of the useless brake light. if you guys know of any sources, im all ears. thanks.

If I can find time, local yard has a bunch of big trucks in there out body style. Should be able to get a couple gauges.

I have one that was in a diesel, has the 4k tach with the small fuel gauge, and a dual needle air gauge for two separate tanks.

Yea I was going to suggest your local junkyard. I know ours out here used to but the guy closed it and crushed 90% of all his rigs which sucks! Did you try searching the net yet?

Re: anybody know a good source for gauge clusters?

yea i've been watching ebay for a while and a few other sites. i can only seem to find the early 73-early 80s gauge style. i was hoping to find the newer style. as far as junkyards. there really isnt any near me that would have a c70 or something of that size just sitting in it.

Re: anybody know a good source for gauge clusters?

How much would you sell the entire cluster for? I'm assuming it has all gauges... I found a 6.2 for $150 so I'm really leaning towards swapping my 350.

Re: anybody know a good source for gauge clusters?

I have two clusters left, was gonna hang onto them till I figure what way I want to go. Not 100% sure I want to sell either of them, but I'll post in the classifieds if I do.

Re: anybody know a good source for gauge clusters?

I have one but the tach doesnt work I thought it would be cool to have the tach fuel gauge and a clock all in one cluster!

Are stock tachs fixable? And I assume no one is repoping them.

Re: anybody know a good source for gauge clusters?

Theyre avability in junkyards varys state to state. Northern state tend to have pressure guages and hydro boost where as more southern thends to have the tachs. And odd ball packages and wierd factory options.

Try lmc. But im telln ya now factory is expensive and usually out of spec. From personal exper. Keep lookn at the junkyards, check anything 73-88 esp the bigblock surburbans. Good luck.
