This is how they are mounted except the shock bolt is in backwards. Is that right? I can't see the truck until Monday night so all I have is the pictures posted.

Rob is there a reference point to measure from for the frames that don't have the 5/8 hole you had in the frame on the shop truck? I noticed Andy said his didn't have one. I have a hole in mine but I'm not sure it is the correct one. In the case of there not being a hole is there a a specific angle the shocks should be mounted at to have proper action? I have be told that Monroe shocks don't perform well at an angle in excess of 30 degrees, apparently the valveing is affected. You thoughts are appreciated.

Got the shocks truned around and glad I went back under there. I had left the top shock bolts loose for some unknow reason.
Camera died I post pictures once it charged up again. ![]() ![]()

How thick is the spacer block on the trailing arm ? about 1.5" ? and was this done so you did not have to raise the bracket on the crossmember or just for travel clearance on the trailing arm when it was lowered ? thanks, Kieth |
