What's your definition of ProStreet?
Some guys go with big honkin' tires, lowered a bit, wimpy stock engine.
Me, I start with a big honkin' powerplant, build the ride around it.
Tubbing the rear on these trucks is a problem due to the frame shape.

Re: New guy ,new project

Well for me I am on a tight budget so I found on Chassisworks site a how to tub it without narrowing the frame as you said . the power train will have to stay stock as it will be the vehicle I drive to work everyday in the summer and has to make trips to the cottage as well. it also has to pass emission tests every other year.
I also want to get my brothers involved in it as they are getting some free time to get back in the hobby and I thought they would find this interesting and something for the three of us to do

So, What size tire/wheel combo do you plan on running with tubs only ?

So a 31x19.50 tire . that seems to be as big without narrowing the frame. so thats what I will use.
