It looks like he's blended in a newer style hood...I like that! Dashboard...verdict is still out for me. I'd like to see it when he's finished. Regardless, I think it's going to be a *****in truck although I'm a stocker fan

Yeah, he took the skin off of a new Tahoe and grafted onto the original hood.

Wow, that is an amazing piece of work. You should recommend he join the forum over here and start a build thread that way we can all keep up with his progress!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

It's painted & mostly assembled but not done yet. He was working on interior related tasks & drivetrain related electronics.

Re: Check out this C10!!

Yeah, like Scoti said. It runs, drives, etc. Just finishing up odds and ends such as getting the ECM to work with the gauges and the truck itself. Basically, the ECM has to know it is know married to a C10 and not a Cadillac CTS-V. LOL!!

It's all art .....some like it and some don't ...but I'm with special-k on this one ..not a big fan of hacking up something that doesn't need any help to be pretty.

That being said I've seen a few trucks with mild body mods that are ok ....but not 67-72's they look good from any angle all on there own ....IMHO

Re: Check out this C10!!

If I had those skills I'd build one like it, I love the G-machine attitude. Also being 6"7" the 6" cab stretch wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Check out this C10!!

I'm obviously on the other side of the truck spectrum (lifted rather than lowered) but the guy has both incredible skill and patience. I see that he wanted to keep the build under $25k, but I wonder how many hundreds of hours it took.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
