1972 Delco Pleasure Lift Questions ?

Does anyone know how this works? Is anybody interested in it?

I just took this off a 1972 parts truck I have. It was all still connected and the rear air shocks are still on the truck but I do not know if it works. I thought I would check before it was thrown away to see if it is of any use to someone.

Any input would be great. Thanks

Was there an air compressor hooked up to this anywhere? How far away is Cibolo from Denton? And if I can find any more info on this how much? I just think it looks cool.
