where is the best place to wire a security cut off switch? (not a emergency cut off switch)

Between the ignition to the coil and another between the starter solenoid and ignition. If your fuel pump is electric - that supply too.
Then get creative with your switch placement / hiding / masking. (keeping in mind that if someone wants your truck bad enough, it's gone) |

The coolest one I've ever seen was hidden behind a tail light in a fleetside bed.

A friend of mine used to have a stick on digital clock on his dash, the kind that slid into a litle plastic bracket. You had to slide the clock up in the bracket, and there was a small hole you had to stick a drill bit through to push the button. He usd to keep a 1/8 in drill bit in the ashtray. The switch was wired to a RV type fuel selector valve, one side was cut into the fuel line, the other sucked air, through a cheapo plastic VW type fuel filter.

That sounds like a handfull. I just have a toggle switch hidden under the dash, by the steering column. Kind of unnecessary though, even I can't get my truck to start half the time.
