Cool deal of the day ?

I got an crome bumper and and crome grille for 400.00
The bumper looks good but theres an extra hole i dont know if it was and factory hole or not and the grill had the gm numbers in the head light pockets . Woulds the extra holes be for bumper gaurds ?? any ideas

Re: deal of the day ?

I dont know what the extra hole is for but a chrome grille and bumper is 500 + shipping from LMC so I would say you got a great deal! The numbers in the headlights are stamped into the headlight mounts so they are likely original, I dont think there was a chrome grille option, just aluminum, but I have been wrong before!

Nice score, will look beeeyoo tee full mounted and shining.

If they are about 3" outboard of the bumper bolts they certainly could be for bumper guards. Post number 224 on the following thread shows one factory template for installing them in this location. This is where mine are mounted:

Re: deal of the day ?

very nice pick up...bought a chrome bumper just the other day from a buddy for $100. Still looking for a chrome grill...That one looks awful clean. I will stay patient and get mine to running how I want to first, but rock on man make it shine bro!
