Matching Master Cylinder?
I need to get a new booster and master cylinder, but I'm going to be changing to discs up front in about a year. What will happen if I put the disc/drum mater cylinder on and run it with the drums up front for a while?

You will be without a residual pressure valve. In other words your front brakes would take longer to engage and be very hard to accuratly control. Master cylinders are only $30 or so. Not worth wrecking your truck to save $30. The other option is to buy the drum/drum master, and when you upgrade to disc remove the residual pressure valve. After that the only difference is the size of the reservoir.
