Black paint / Blue interior combos?

Anyone have pics of black trucks with Blue interiors? I think I've found the truck I want to buy (another 72 SWB 4x4 Cheyenne Super) and the SPID indicates it was originally black with blue interior. Maybe I've just never paid attention, but I can't remember seeing pictures of that combo anywhere... I'll post the picture of the SPID sticker when I get home this afternoon. Thanks everyone!

Here's mine, just about the negative of the one above. You have to imagine the black carpet installed though.

Re: Black paint / Blue interior combos?

So... follow up question then... what is it worth? This particular truck was an original Black / Blue Cheyenne Super 4x4 SWB w/ AC (that has all been gone through and needs the pulley aligned to have it working). Metal bed, probably needs painted sooner than later due to a few spots where the paint has been rubbed away. I would probably have it spot repaired temporarily if I bought it today. Doesn't have the original engine / transmission. Now has an early 80s 350 with aluminum heads and Edelbrock Pro Flo EFI and a 4 speed manual transmission. They also replaced the gauge cluster when the rebuild was done with a new cluster with the tach. The frame has been coated as well, and according to the owner there is no rust outside of some surface rust where the paint chipped away on the back corner of the cab just above the bed. And as you can see from the pic, it needs some interior work.... So I'm wondering if the variances from original equipment make this a no-go? I am looking for another SWB Cheyenne Super K10, but if the changes negate its value as a fairly rare truck maybe I'd be better off to keep looking? Any thoughts as to what it is actually worth as is? I'm looking at driving 10 hours each way to pick this thing up, but if there red flags that I'm just overlooking, I'm definitely all ears!!!

Ya, it reminds me of the sweet custom interior all of the high schoolers had in their rigs when I was in junior high in the early 90s. Luckily, I already have most of the interior pieces kicking around to replace it with...

Re: Black paint / Blue interior combos?

I am one of the biggest fans of blue interiors but I agree, something isn't quite appealing about that color combo in post 3. On the other hand its a true super 4x4 and if the price is right and rust is minimal I'd go for it. Black looks amazing on these trucks if nicely painted. Saddle interior with the woodgrain and black exterior is awesome so maybe keep that in mind. I wouldn't worry about the engine and tranny as you could probably find correct year units, the price should be lower though when you purchase to account for that. Manual throttle is a cool option.

Thanks for sharing.

It's actually in SW Wyoming, but not far from SLC. Its listed in the KSL classified ads. I'm walking away, so if anyone else is braver than I am, have at it...

Re: Black paint / Blue interior combos?

Seem to remember this truck from a while back. As I remember cowgirlcullen had it up on eBay for months. Really like Black and blue together and a Cheyenne Super too. I'll see if I can dig up some old files and pictures on another computer.
