Re: No start today, ignition or fuel pump?

The vortec firepower kit arrived this morning from DUI. Just finished up getting it all installed and everything fit and works good. The only snag I ran into was the factory coil rivited to the mounting bracket. It was no big deal getting it out, but I had to run to the store for bolts to mount the new one in the bracket. I just hope this fixes the issue, there was lots of what looked like corrosion on wheel under the rotor, I cleaned it all off and best I could and blew it out real good. I will try to bring this back up in a month or so and let everyone know how the stuff is still working....
