Need some help please!!!

I've got an 87 1/2 ton pickup but the PO put cab lights on it. I tried finding someone to trade for one without them but no luck. We're wanting to lower it and make a hopped up street toy outta it but I don't wanna lower it then it look just plain stupid lowered with the cab lights. Anyone have any pics of a lowered pickup with cab lights? I'd like to see one if somebody has one.

Thanks

No pics...but...with all the new and fancy LED lights, may peak an intrest if you had multi-colored lights up here that chased, or blinked or something..just to add a wow factor.

If you wanted to remove them though, probably just a little body work to fill the holes.

You are talking about the 4/5 lights that are on the roof just up from the windshield right?

No cab lights on a street truck!

Like crazeetxn said, just remove them & weld up the holes.

Re: Need some help please!!!

lol Karl a PO is previous owner... And yes the cab lights are the lights on top of the cab. Some people call them running lights too.

Crazeetxn, I'd love to just take them out and fill the holes but we don't have a welder or sander or anything like that to do the work and shops charge way too much to do it. I thought bout getting some colored lenses the color of whatever I do the interior in. But not sure how that'd turn out.

Re: Need some help please!!!

Only welder I have access to is at the muffler shop I used to work at but I don't want it sitting up there for a while. I love to be different, thats what my dad and I tell everybody, I just wanted to get an idea on what it looked like before I done it. When I was working on my '63 I seen one that same body style with cab lights that the guy slammed and it looked awesome and was definitely different, but I sold that pickup and now have this one. I guess I oughta start me a build thread on it since I'm workin on it now. lol imma start that right now!
