What company has the best sheet metal parts that are made in the usa? Most of the ones i have delt with come from key parts. Has anyone bought anything from Goodmark?

I am looking for door skins for my 67. and also bed sides.

We sell usa made patch panels. the door skins are only 21 inches high and the bedsides are two piece skins only to weld together or we can weld together for customers

Did you not like the Key Parts door skins? They are a couple different bedsides on the market and I do like one better than the other.

I bought a set of door skins from a aftermarket place, they were key parts and they fit really bad, the body lines from door to cowl didn't line up.

I hate to hear that. Since I have been working for them this is the first complaint I have heard on the Door skins.

We have not had any customer returns on TriPlus door skins or bedsides.

Yes have full skins and lower skins both. Now the complete doors by Tri-Plus is a different story

I bought tri-plus fenders, doors and tailgate. If I would have know I would have paid more for OEM.

The absolute best sheetmetal I've used is made by Dynacorn. It's the "imported" variety but man that stuff is spot on perfect!

I practically rebuilt my whole 63 Impala with their stuff and have no complaints and I'm talking big stuff like full quarters, trunk floors, wheel houses, etc. Not sure what all they make for these trucks off hand however.

Again goodmark doesn't make them they are made by triplus..... From my experience they are far from a bolt on

i don't believe Goodmark handles TriPlus any longer they switched a while back. reboxed golden legion i think. We are dealers for Goodmark also but we only sell the parts Triplus does not offer.

which parts are "far from a bolt on"?? can you be more specific??? We use the parts we sell on our stuff we build.

No offense but if body work was easy then it would not be called work and everybody would do it them selfs not needing body shops. just like my brother in law cannot hang a fender but he can build a house and I cannot build a house but I can hang a fender. Everybody in life has different skill sets. Thanks Tim

I have a set of Triplus doors and two of their frenders. Nowhere near bolt ons. I see them more as junk. I call them my stupid tax. Went and found better used factory parts to use.

Jeez... nothing is gonna be a direct bolt on. I've even used "factory" parts and NOS stuff for 67-72 trucks and for GM A-bodies. Nothing is a direct bolt on or spot perfect weld on without a little massaging and work to get them to fit.

With one exception. My cousin had a '66 Chevelle way back when, and found an NOS SS hood for it. It fit perfectly. Didn't even have to mess with the hood latch.

partsman3 I agree on the doors but the fenders I have used a lot with no problems don't get me wrong we do get bad fenders every now and then but is really rare when we do.
