Steering Kit
A couple months ago I was online surfing around and i came across a magazine article on a steering kit for classic Chevy trucks that allows you to use the stock column with a rack and pinion. Did anyone else come across this article I cant remember who made the kit

Re: Steering Kit
I thought there was a place where you could just buy the bearing? Or if you live in a metro area you could take the shaft OD and column housing ID and a good bearing supply counter guy will set you up. We did it all the time at the papermill for custom shaft applications. There is a thread with pictures too floating around the site.

Re: Steering Kit
Sorry to high-jack with a noob question, but can a guy use this modification and keep the stock axle/steering set up and add a R&P?
